Top 5 Korean Artists I Would Love to Have as My Birthday Guests

In my previous posts, I may or may not have mentioned my instant liking for South Korean singers and actors. I do love them and I may be able to write more posts about my favorite bands and singers as well. But for now, let us talk about the South Korean artists I am happy to have as guests for my birthday. Of course, if this would happen in real life then I’d be totally happy. But for now, I’m just contented with sharing this to all of you and hopefully some of my K-Pop idols would be able to read this.

I've been doing my research on Yahoo, Bing, college-paper.org, and Google, and of all the South Korean artists dominating the T.V. and movie screen, there will be some who has an edge among others. They bring the spice to a sugar-coated television program and bring the comedy when the audience didn’t expect to. See this and you’ll instantly be hooked as well with them.

1. Lee Seung-gi

Lee Seung-gi is one the top of my lists as the Korean star I’d like to be present on my birthday. Because he’s been known as the funny guy, I’m quite sure that he’ll bring all the laughter in my party and will make any woman swoon for his masculinity. I obviously loved his character in “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho.”

2. Jo In Sung or Zo In-sung

With his cute eye smile, he melts the hearts of all the females around him. Once you see him in real life, you can’t just get enough of his manliness and charming personality (that’s what my friend said when she met him).

3. Lee Dong-wook

The charming star of T.V dramas and the lead star in the series “My Girl.” I met him once when he went to eat at this restaurant. Although it was brief, he will charm you with his tantalizing eyes. Yummy!

4. Lee Min Ho

The star born out of his first venture in the acting world through “Boys Over Flowers.” Everywhere he goes, you’re sure to not miss out his beautiful smile and hunk body. Just look at the pictures here and you’ll see why I want him on my birthday.

5. Eun Ji Won

I have been watching him since the 1 night 2 days program series were uploaded on Youtube. Every time I watch him, he becomes more adorable to me. Too bad that he’s married but he’s still welcome on my birthday.

Wondering why it’s mostly males that I wanted to invite, that’s because I have a lot of female friends so it’s time for some males to come at the party.

Songs I Would like to be Played on my Wedding Day

A wedding is definitely one of the most special events an individual could remember in his/her entire lifetime. Just to imagine that you'll be united with the one you love in the eyes of God and in front of the people special to you is enough to send your palpilating. What more if it's going to be a dream come true, right? Forgive me if I'm like this, all talking about wedding, love, marriage, and engagement. I'm just envious but happy at the same time for my sister getting married next month.

Since I'm younger than her and the maid of honor, she made me in-charge of everything. From the wedding invitations to the reservations of the hotel and church and even the honeymoon package, I'm the one who has the responsibility of making everything run smoothly as soon as possible. After doing all the hard work, I kind of thought to myself if when will I meet the One!

I've never actually had that much experience regarding relationships and the only serious one I had was when I was in junior high (I think). But that does't mean that I'm not ready for a new love. It's just that I've been busy with work and things I got to buy now for my family. I guess I'm too family-oriented but that can change now since I came up with a list of the songs I'd like to hear on my wedding day.

  1. Always by Atlantic Starr
  2. Runaway by The Corrs
  3. I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston
  4. Reunited by Peaches and Herb
  5. The Gift by Peabo Bryson
  6. My Heart will Go on by Celine Dion
  7. We've Only Just Begun - The Carpenters
  8. Don't Go Breaking My Heart - Elton John and Kiki Dee
  9. Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton
  10. You Make Me Feel Brand New - The Stylistics

These are what I like so far right now but it can change. If you want to add up any other love songs you think is great for a wedding day, please comment.

My Top 3 Korean TV Dramas that should be Made into Movies

It is very evident that K-Pop singers continue to soar high with the entrance of SNSD or Girl’s Generation and Wonder Girls into the international scene. They conquered neighboring countries like Japan, Singapore, and Indonesia with their powerful and catchy songs that it’s not hard to understand why most Americans would too. I can say that I am one of the K-Pop fanatics and been following new singles of my favorite K-pop idols. But that doesn’t mean that I’d forget about Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and others. I still love them and will support them.

Nowadays, I am finding myself quite addicted with downloading and watching South Korean T.V. dramas. And some of my favorites include My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, Boys Over Flowers, City Hunter, and Full House. I’m not yet done watching all of these dramas and there are more to come. Do you want to know what I liked about the dramas? It’s all because of the different but loveable story plots.

I mean, we’re used to having the same story plot for most romantic comedies right? It’s time for a little change and that’s why these are my top 3 T.V. dramas that should be made into movies.

1. My Girlfriend is a Gumiho

We all know that the history of most Asian countries involved mystical creatures like the nine-tailed fox depicted in the storyline. But what’s interesting about the drama is not only because of the amazing actors, it’s the story that sells.

2. Full House

I really love stories that have something to do with celebrities. So if this one is made into a movie, I’m sure this will be a blockbuster. Just check out one scene and you’ll be addicted.

3. Boys Over Flowers

Although I prefer the Taiwanese version of the manga/comic series, I also liked this one. And if the same actors will play the roles, it would be a sure hit.

Charmed Forever Cast: Where Are They Now? (Part 2)

And so we will continue with our research on the lives of the Charmed Forever cast after the show ended.

Alyssa Milano as Phoebe Halliwell

Alyssa Milano

With the power to see the future, Phoebe Halliwell truly is a Charmed One. The character is played by Alyssa Milano and she's able to portray the rebellious side of Phoebe. In constant conflict with the eldest of the brood, Alyssa Milano exude the feelings of the youngest sister. Regarded as the most sucessful actress in her generation, she continued to star in different films like The Blue Hour, My Girlfriend's Boyfriend, and New Year's Eve.

Alyssa Milano has a colorful lovelife and been married several times. But it was CAA agent David Bugliari that she found true love. Now, Milano is blessed with a son named Milo Thomas Bugliari.

Rose McGowan as Paige Matthews

Rose McGowan

Her desire to live away from the shadow of her deceased half-sister, Paige Matthews tried everything to find her own identity while playing a part of the Charmed Ones. Rose McGowan who played for the role of Paige was perfect and nobody could pull it off like she does. Currently, she is filming for three films Napa, The Tell Tale Heart, and The Bell Jar.

After her failed relationship with Marilyn Manson (rock musician) and director Robert Rodriguez, McGowan is not in any relationship as of the moment.

Brian Krause as Leo Wyatt

Brian Krause

The lover and then-husband of Piper Halliwell, Leo Wyatt was a WhiteLighter who always came to save the Halliwell sisters from danger. Played excellently by Brian Krause, he was successful in exuding the character of a person in love and torn between his responsibilities as an Elder and a husband. After his successful stint as Piper's love interest, he starred in films like 2012: Supernova and You're so Cupid.

They're the major characters of the series and I'm not playing favorites with them if ever I never included some. These are just the characters that made a considerable impact to my happy viewing of the series and caused me to write this as part of my practice in writing and essay writing services

I will continue to watch more program series and probably write about them.

Charmed Forever Cast: Where Are They Now? (Part 1)

Before the Dark Angel television series glued us to our seats, there was Buffy: The Vampire Slayer kicking all the vampires out to harm innocent people. And before the Desperate Housewives flaunted their curves on national T.V. and let us in the houselife secrets, there was Sex and The City that somehow mirrored the lives of all single ladies out there. Various television programs were created much to the delight and excitement of people. Some were easily forgotten while some are remembered because of the lovable casts and excellent story plot.

And one of the most loved and popular television series is Charmed. The Halliwell sisters charmed their way through our T.V. screen on October 7, 1998. The trio or most popularly known as the “Power Of Three” includes Holly Marie Combs as Piper Halliwell, Alyssa Milano as Phoebe Halliwell, Shannen Doherty as Prudence “Pruce” Halliwell who played the role till season 3 and was replaced by Rose McGowan as Paige Matthews, the half-sister of the Halliwell sisters and the youngest.

Charmed Logo

The television program series lasted for eight seasons and brought many of actions, romance, comedy, and supernatural elements to our usual viewing. I remember that my parents would always finish meal earlier so they could watch the show altogether. And that I've written an essay writing service for my favorite program series including Charmed.

But what happened to the Charmed Forever cast after the show ended on May 21, 2006?

Shannen Doherty as Prudence “Pruce” Halliwell

Shannen Doherty

The eldest of the Halliwell sisters, Prue Halliwell is said to be the Charmed One and the most powerful witch of the three. Successfully portrayed by Shannen Doherty, the actress was able to portray the feisty, strong-willed, and intelligent character of Prue. But because of a clash between her and Alyssa Milano, she only stayed till season 3 of the show. She continued to star in various films like Christmas Caper and Burning Palms, and in series like Beverly Hills.

And following her failed marriages, she is now happily married to Kurt Iswarienko.

Holly Marie Combs as Piper Halliwell

Holly Marie Combs

Piper became the eldest of the Halliwell sisters and the most powerful witch when Prue died. Portrayed by Holly Marie Combs, she naturally relayed the feeling to the viewers of her desire to be normal in handling her family and marital problems. After the season ended, Combs came back on the screen via another series Pretty Little Liars playing the role of Ella Montgomery and mother to Lucy Hale's character Aria Montgomery.

Holly Marie Combs has 3 kids and recently divorced her second husband David Donoho last November of 2011.

To be continued....

Humorous Pick-Up Lines Used By Girls to Guys

For females, it feels really nice to get all the attention from males when we go inside a bar, at school, or even when we're busily working in the office. It makes us feel appreciated especially when they notice how good we look today or if we have a nice haircut. It makes us want to be more attractive and stunning in their eyes, right? That's how most women feel when they're being complimented by men wherever they go but not in places where the aura is just plain creepy.

Anyway, me and a few of my girl friends decided to party all night long in a bar when we're in Miami. Since I'm the newbie and haven't had enough experiences with boys yet. So when we're in the bar, I was unconsciously looking at how people are able to casually mingle with a stranger. Don't get me wrong by just reading this. I have a very conservative upbringing that I was only allowed to go out with friends when I started working.

And when working, I have the tendency of working pretty late and doing all the essay writing services and proofreading all by myself. So just a change in environment, my friends decided to introduce me to a different kind of lifestyle. What I noticed is the use of pick-up lines by both men and women, and it really does work sometimes.

So I gathered all of my researching skills and present to you humorous pick-up lines uttered by girls to guys they like. Here are some:

1. Do you have a quarter? I told my ex boyfriend that I would call him when I found someone better.

2. Either my eyes need checking or you're the best looking guy I have seen all week.

3. Are you the kind of guy who can look after himself or do you need a cute girl to take care of you?

4. They said finding the right man would be tough, but they never said it'd be this tough.

5. Is it hot in here, or is it just you?

6. Hey I just realized this, but you look a lot like my next boyfriend…

7. Are you funny, because I only like funny guys?

8. Kiss me if I am wrong, but isn't your name John.

9. I never do this, but I think you're cute and I got tired of waiting for you to talk to me.

10. Hello. Are you taking any applications for a girlfriend?

Now, not all of these pick-up lines work as told by my girlfriends and some of my male cousins. But it sure does feel nice to be a little forward sometimes and show men that you can do it too. You're welcome to try using these pick-up lines girls!

My Top 5 Most Favorite Hairstyles on Celebrities!

Last night, I found myself watching various popular romantic movies of all time. Some of my favorites include Titanic, A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, When Harry Met Sally, and Hairspray. And I know what you're going to say that Hairspray which starred Zac Efron and Nikki Blonsky along with John Travolta and Michelle Pfeifer isn't romantic. But I believe it is and I still will even you don't think so.

Well, let's just go back to the topic. As I was busily watching these people being romantic and making me fall in love all over again, my sister just came in and had me help her with her research papers. I knew she was serious with asking for my help but I can't help laughing at her disorganized hair. I ended up helping her picking a hairstyle for a salon haircut the next day.

And being I'm inspired with anything that has to do with haircuts, I decided to update my site with my own top 5 favorite hairstyles in the world. I get my inspiration from celebrities but some from ordinary people as well. So right now, let's start with celebrity haircuts I've tried on myself and been one of my favorites since then.

“Blunt Bangs”

I remember that I got this hairstyle in preparation for my prom night in high school. This particular hairstyle is a big favorite among my friends even up until now. I think that's because it's classy and elegant-looking. But at the same time, you look really good when you're able to pull it off.

“Sexy Waves”

I always try to be sexy and if I can't achieve it with my body then I do with my hair. Ever since Adriana Lima popularized her “sexy waves” look, it's became one of the hairstyles coveted the most. Seriously, I have thick hair and it fits me just perfectly.

“Shoulder-Grazing Shag”

All I can say is you go girl. Seriously, Jennifer Aniston looks good in any hairstyle and hair color. And I'm envious for anyone who can pull off the same look as Jennifer Aniston in this picture. My face is just too big that it's (hairstyle) saying “No” to me, literally!

“Fringe Cut”

I got my hair dyed blond during my teens and seriously, I believed I looked good in it. Reese Witherspoon is one of my favorite blond Hollywood celebrities and been following what hairstyles she got, and hoping it fits me perfectly. This look I'm able to pull off in time for my uncle's wedding day.

“Wispy Bob”

Sometimes, I want to look a bit chic with a short hair and I just pull off this picture of Nicole Richie sporting a “Wispy Bob” haircut. And when I'm wearing this haircut, I know I look good in it.

So that's it. These are my top 5 favorite hairstyles of all time. New hairstyles will definitely be trendy right now and I'll update my lists when the time comes. Thanks for reading!
