The British are eternally known to be
safely-obsessed with hats. It is a staple accessory for every
occasion that would involve socializing and mingling. At certain
times, the hat becomes the priority rather than the dress or the
shoes. For the true-blooded hat aficionados, the clothes, jewelry,
and footwear are based on the hat.
I remember when I was in college, I had a dorm mate who was from
the UK. She invited me to go to London to attend her summer wedding.
Being a student who relies on my parents and a part-time barista, it
took me three months come up with the airfare to travel abroad. She
was dear to me because she did help me when my room was almost robbed
and helped me with my custom essay.
When I arrived at the wedding, I was out of place. The guests were
wearing hats and the only head accessory I had was a pin to tame my
big hair. It was like when I was in college and I feel inferior to my
classmates. I browse Google while it's www.college-paper.org
for them.
Since then, I had religiously followed British events. I, myself
had become mildly obsessed with hats. I had designs that the average
American would frown but the average British would take a second look
at.
The Royal Ascots races is one of those events where everyone pulls
all the stops to wear hats that scream, “look at me!”And I was
not disappointed, the horsed brought out the best and most outrageous
in the attendees.
Take pleasure in these photos and admire their bravery.
