A very stressful and tiring week, that's what I'd say. Working as an employee of a multinational company, there are meetings to attend, projects to submit, and a whole lot of people and deadlines to meet. I'm even surprised I could last that long without eating one decent meal for the whole week. Gladly, I found enough to just finish this post on the second half of the world's famous pin-up girls.

On the first one which you can read here, Veronica Lake, Bettie Page, and the Elvren girls were featured. Now, we will have two more of the sexiest pin-up girls who filled each and every soldier's dreams during the WWII, Ava Gardner and Betty Grable.

Ava Gardner

A certified “MGM” girl, Ava Gardner became a Hollywood leading actress admired for her beauty and stunning figure during her prime days. Appearing in several films opposite high-profile leading men, she cemented her way as a bankable super star. But she's not only an actress as she was one of the celebrated pin-up girls starting with typical photos of her in bathing suits. Eventually, she became known as a femme fatale and began posing in heels and black dresses pictured above. Involved in various relationships and marriages, she defined Frank Sinatra (her last husband) to be the man/love of her life.

Betty Grable

Born Elizabeth Ruth Grable on December 18, 1916, she was more famous and prominent in Hollywood through her screen name Betty Grable. Betty, as she was fondly called by her friends and colleagues, was one of the successful Hollywood stars and leading actress during her time. Famous for having the most beautiful legs in the entire Hollywood, she became the number one pin-up girl owing to her famous and iconic bathing suit poster pictured here. In almost all essay writing service, people described and noted her ideally proportional legs and even had the nickname of “the girl with the million dollar legs.”

So there you have it. The top 5 famous pin-up girls: Veronica Lake, Bettie Page, Elvren girls, Ava Gardner, and Betty Grable.

Top 5 Most Famous Pin-ups of Female Celebs

The World War II wasn't one of the events that Americans and the rest of the world wants to remember. It doesn't bring out any good memories especially to the victims, soldiers, and people who lost their loved-ones in this bloody battle. But such event triggered the entrance to the Golden Age of Pin-ups

Pin-ups were very popular among soldiers back then because it raises their “morale” and help in reminding them on what they're fighting for. Thousands and thousands of pictures of smiling women in less clothes and often recognized as racy photos were sent by the government as supplies and even at their expense to be distributed among the troops. Calendars, pin-up pictures of female celebrities and cartoons, and some women in clothing-challenged situations were among those “supplies.”

Photos of female celebrities with less clothing and sometimes racy positions were among the top favorites of soldiers and seen adorning their lockers, barracks' walls, and sides of the planes. So who are these famous female celebrities who became part of the lives of WWII soldiers?

Veronica Lake

An American film noir actress, Veronica Lake was one of the most popular pin-up models. And her signature wavy “peekaboo” hairstyle was associated with her and became the inspiration for Jessica Rabbit's character in “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” Her blue eyes and trademark one-sided hairstyle seemed to be enchanting to most of the soldiers back then.

Bettie Page

Bettie Page is definitely and will remain as the Queen of Pinups. This American model became famous for her trademark bangs, jet black hair, and tantalizing blue eyes. She became part of every man's dream during her pin-up modelling days and even up until now. Page has no limitations when it comes to this craft like the skimpy dresses she wear and poses she makes. Even when she was studying, doing her term paper, and earning her college degree, she goes for it.

Elvgren Girls

Female celebrities weren't the only companions of soldiers during WWII. Some of the most popular pin-ups back then were drawings of commercial artists. And artist Gil Elvgren specializes in pin-up drawings of females in imaginative situations revealing her stockings and garters. It presents a humurous side of pin-up girls.

On our next post, we'll continue with two of the world's most famous pin-up ladies. Do you want to know who they are? Come back for more.

5 Do Not's in Essay Writing

Students often deem essay writing a complex task because of several considerations they have to make. It pays though that you follow the rules so your essay would turn out good.

With that, remember these 5 do not’s.

Don’t plagiarize. You can paraphrase. You are also allowed to quote from resources such as http://www.essaywritingservices.com/. But never claim another author’s statement as yours. Always give credit where it is due. After all, you don’t want somebody owning your output as theirs.

Don’t overuse adjectives. Make full use of verbs to tell your story. The thing with adjectives is that they modify nouns, but they do not aid your ideas progress. In short, they add to your word count, but not to the substance of your essay.

Don’t use big words. Remember that using words that others rarely use would not make your essay sound smart. A well-written essay lends itself to comprehension. Keep it simple so readers would stick to you.

Don’t mess up thoughts. Group related ideas together. And observe transitions as you jump from one thought to another. Also, see to it that you have tied loose ends as you conclude your essay.

Don’t procrastinate. This is where most students fail. Essays are not completed in an instant. It entails research as well as proofreading. Take note when your essay is due, and ensure to start working on it the soonest you can.

Why It's Important Teen Students Have their Alone Time After School?

Solitude can be scary for some, particularly for students. School is a social environment, for one. And being alone most of the time might cause others to think negatively about you. However, spending some time alone after classes is also crucial.

Here are few reasons why.

Recharging mind and body. With insufficient rest, you will not be able to perform effectively. After a long day in school, you deserve a few minutes wherein you do not have to do anything but relax.

Keeping restraints up. You are able to assess your options carefully, whatever it is that you need deciding for. Pressure is decreased as you do not have to deal with anyone, except for yourself.

Releasing stress. Whether you spend it gazing at the stars, listening to your playlist, or watching your favorite film, there is no doubt that spending your me-time aids you ward off anxiety.

People would drown themselves with work so they could escape from the rest of their worries, which isn’t healthy in the long run. You are in school. There is a lot you ought to do, include to that reviewing for exams, and going through writing resources at essaywritingservices.com.

So learn to be comfortable with being alone, too. Reward yourself with me-time.

I'm Sexy and You Should Know It!

My last post was all about food, Japan, and more cute stuff. So what's more to talk about? Well, how about losing weight and being satisfied with the results.

I was a big girl during my teen years. Although I was a diligent and often inspired student, studying at night, finishing my assignments, working on my projects, and even readying my term paper, I was a BIG girl. And you should understand that when you're in your teens, kids can be a great bully and you-know-what-bullying-means-right.

To make the long story short, I became inspired to lose weight to avoid the bullying tendencies of my classmates and still manage to be an excellent student. Now, you've all heard of LMFAO's hit song Sexy and I Know It. Well, it inspired me to do another essay writing on sexiness.

Just some of the girls who lost weight and knew that they're sexy now!

Thanks to the person and site that uploaded this. It inspires me more again.

Getting Back to School Sleeping Routine

School is that time of the year to get up early before the break of dawn. It is the time when crying feats will become a routine for kids who still want to doze off for five minutes which ends up for an hour. It is the time when parents have to wake up at least 30 minutes prior to waking their kids up to prepare breakfast and lunch.

Here’s are two things you can do to prepare the whole household when school time comes.

Practice early

Practice really makes perfect sense when you’re sleeping. Two weeks before school starts, talk with your kids and let them know that it’s that time of the year again- they need to be in their beds and sleeping by 8 in the evening as opposed to let’s say, 10 or 11 during summer. Sleeping early ahead of the first day at school will re-condition the body and mind to automatically shut down once the scheduled time comes.

Talk to kids about sleeping early

Before making them sleep early, talk to them first. Discuss with them why they need to be in bed an hour after dinner even if school won’t be starting in four weeks. Let them know that they need to teach their bodies to sleep early or else they would have a hard time doing so the night before the first day of school.
